Manifest edge_side_panel browser support
Published Updated
edge_side_panel is a web app manifest member that opts a PWA in to being pinned to the sidebar in Microsoft Edge. Microsoft’s July 2026 documentation update states that the feature “is being deprecated” and “will soon no longer be supported.”
This page has no compatibility table: no cross-browser dataset tracks the member, and Microsoft’s documentation describes only Edge’s behaviour.
