About
OpenPWA is a reference for the installable web: web app manifest members, service workers, installation, device capabilities, storage, notifications, performance and platform behaviour, with browser-compatibility datasets and ecosystem and store policy alongside, in English and Chinese. The goal is to be a source that people, search engines and language models can rely on. This area documents how the site knows what it publishes.
MethodologyStatus and confidence definitions, upstream data sources, verification cadence, the country-reach formula, scope and non-goals.
Editorial processHow an entry is researched, drafted, fact-checked, reviewed and corrected, including where machine assistance is used.
Carey GillThe editorial pen name under which every entry is reviewed, and what the review step covers.
Report a problemHow to report a wrong statement, a dead source or a missing page by email, and what to include.
ChangelogEvery addition, update and correction to a published page or dataset, newest first, generated from the repository history.
Every reference entry is source-backed, carries a last-verified date, and exposes structured
metadata plus a machine-readable .md twin at the same URL. The provenance block at the end of
each page lists its sources and links to this area.
