Contact Picker API browser support

Published Updated

The Contact Picker API lets a page ask the user to pick one or more entries from the device contact list through a picker the browser presents; the page receives only the requested fields of the selected entries and gets no standing access to the address book. The specification requires the picker to satisfy its privacy and selection rules but does not mandate a native or browser-drawn UI.

The table covers navigator.contacts (the ContactsManager interface) and its select() method, derived from MDN browser-compat-data.
